Companion Planting and Garden Prep with Hedda Campbell and Aspen Ruhlin

A Fundraiser for Mabel Wadsworth Center

When: April 30 from 10-11AM 

Where: Comfort of your home or garden.

Description:

Join us for a virtual fundraising workshop where you’ll support Mabel Wadsworth Center while learning how to prep your garden this spring and gain a better understanding of companion planting.

Suggested donation: $0-$30.

All participants will receive seed packets.

Depending on your donation level you will be entered to win: 

$10 or more you will be entered to win one of two $15 gift cards to Fedco and additional seed packets 

$30 or more you will be entered to win 1 hr Garden Consultation with Hedda Campbell (1.5hrs from Portland will be in-person, outside of that range will be a video consult.)

(For folks who can’t attend live, we will record the workshop and send it to everyone who has tickets and you will still be entered to win the door prizes!)

About your instructors:

Hedda Campbell (she,her) is the owner of Primal Blossoms, Landcrafting & Plantcare in Southern Maine. From window box to wilderness Hedda takes an integrative approach that blends the needs of local ecology with site specific preferences to give your natural spaces freedom to thrive creatively.

Aspen Ruhlin (they,them) is the Client and Community Advocate at Mabel Wadsworth Center. When they aren’t working, they love to make art, hang out with their cat, and garden. They’ve been a passionate gardener since childhood, with parents and grandparents that also love to garden. Aspen’s favorite vegetable to grow is beets.
